While it's graphically not-so-impressive, once you properly get started with it, you'll just have to keep on playing...
Like I mentioned, the graphical department isn't that properly handled, the guys look a bit like Lego men. Musics loop around a lot and you might get bored with them, but the atmosphere and the skill development are the main addictive features here.
You can fill your party with up to 4 (or 6?) characters, and I noticed there is no way in hell you can complete the game with just one or two guys. You need an all around team with different professions. But I still haven't figured out if improving the skill "fast talking" is worth anything... I remember it being as effective on low levels as on high levels.
The game is well balanced and the bigger battles between space ships are very nice, but you really have to have the proper skills for those or you're dead meat. Be prepared for everything right from the beginning.
An RPG well worth your money if you can find it anywhere anymore, that is...
