YAWN! Looked like this could have been everything Borderlands was not.!!----UPDATED----!!

!!----Update start----!!
Ok after playing some more I have to stop as many as i can from buying this repetitive garbage.

The whole game is this: 1. Run
2. Press a button 3. jump/slide over obstacle, 5-10m after obstacle 100% guaranteed attack of 4-10 enemies using the same attack pattern over and over.

4.After you kill them, find the drop ship and buy ammo (that you never really need) or **** upgrades you never use.

4.5 Repeat 1-2 times the go to point 5

5. The same boss you killed X times already ( depends on what loop in this list you are on ) will show up with his railgun.

6. Kill him as easy as before because the difficulty never seems to go up.

7. pickup his railgun and kill the 100% guaranteed enemy attack that will come as soon as you pick it up.

8. throw railgun because it will automatically run out of ammo after X amount of time (totally lame).

Start over from point 1

!!----Update end---!!

Looked like Bulletstorm could have been everything Borderlands was not.
Instead it turned out to be Borderlands without the fun world exploration forcefully merged with gears of wars linear game play and limited weapon array.

1. Game play
Most important right?
Well it truly feels like a game I played many many times before.
Skill Kill gets old fast, and the weapons leaves much to wish for.
I hate the fact that you can't jump..I mean seriously, it would have been way cooler to jump and drop kick the enemy instead of the slide kick move, and would it be more realistic...who slides on hard solid rock anyways?

Plenty of glitches in combination with an Uber controlled map/level environment that would make Stalin and the GRU/KGB green of envy.
It limits your every move as much as possible, killing any use of tactics and use of terrain advantage, and making the game dull and bring without any option to mix up the game play with some innovation.

Game play score 3/10 for feeling old and very restricted exploration possibilities.

2. Graphics
Very nice environment, and the graphics is one the the games most redeeming qualities.

Graphics 8/10

3. Ai
I guess we should all be thankful the Ai is better than the abomination called an Ai used in "front lines: Fuel of war".
Still it kills me to see the Ai taking cover in the open, or on the left/right side of an object etc.

Flanking the Ai is easier than turning a door knob.
If it is at all possible, since the maps will often force you the option of only a full on assaults, eliminating any other choice that could have made the game more fun.

Bottom line:

The Environment looks very nice, but the game play fails to deliver any real treats or surprises.
It feels old pretty fast and the skill kill system does offer some value at first it is short lived and soon it will just feel time consuming.
