Surprisingly awesome, a top shelf shooter. Colourful, funny, with over the top action, great weapons, and a fun setting.

I don't know who decided to to release this game on the same day as Killzone 3 but few would argue that this was a good idea. Having just completed the amazing Killzone 3 recently I expected Bulletstorm would be a little disappointing. I was wrong. Bulletstorm has a very different tone to Killzone but it is great fun and should not be missed by any shooter fan. Point form it is:

The good: Graphics/setting/atmosphere, Creative weapons and gameplay, Likeable characters (the good guys/gals), Some funny dialogue.

The okay: The story is good but not outstanding, Enemies are fine but more variety would be nice.

The bad: General Sarrano (unlikeable bad guy), Some overly gross/crude dialogue, Longish loading screens between levels and after deaths, I also ran into a couple of glitches which meant I had to restart from from the last checkpoint.

Overall I can't see how any shooter fan would not have a great time playing this game.
