A refreshing change in the FPS genre. It's about time someone started thinking outside the BOX !

Opinion - Lately I've been getting tired of the FPS clones being released month after month. It was beginning to get a little too redundant. Then came along BulletStorm. No longer was it how to shoot, survive, and take down the enemy. Now it was how creative can I take the enemy/enemies down and get rewarded for it so I can upgrade and buy cool stuff. Hmmm, that sounds way different than the Call of Duty clones and isn't it all about having fun? Heck yeah and BulletStorm delivers on this!

Positives-
- The story was actually engaging, funny, and at times completely unexpected.
- No hiccups, fast framerate, controls logically placed, and feel for each weapon fairly accurate with the right amount of kick back.
- Skill point determination is fast and fluid and doesn't hinder the flow of the game.
- ECHOES is a great way to replay several sites over again, striving to get three out of three stars for the amount of skill points obtained.
- Multiplayer takes time to get use to but grows on you as you get a feel for it. **You must have a mic and talk to your team to make this a worth while adventure**

Negatives -
- The AI players sometimes get in the way of your shooting messing up your well planned skill point plans.
- Many times there's a glitch to jump over an object by pressing the A button. At times if you're too close it won't work or if your AI buddy is in the way it won't recognize you. Many times precious time was lost trying to find the right spot to get the A button on the screen to appear so I can initiate a jump.
- Campaign is short.
- There needs to be more options in multi-player.
- It took too long to get all the weapons, which is unlocked depending on how far you progressed in the campaign. I felt if the weapons were unlocked sooner it would at least give me more of an opportunity to experiment with different skill points.

Overall - I liked the game and it was fun to play. The character dialog was too much at times but I appreciated the option of turning that off. I was glad to see someone is taking chances instead of sticking with the same approach. The game is awesome and deserves a B+, 8.5. It is well worth the money and the cliffhanger will definitely entice me get BulletStorm2.
