With a name like Bulletstorm and by the company Epic you know theres gonna be some shooting goin on here! First off Ill say that this game does sucessfully set itself apart from a large number of FPS with its unique gameplay. Each weapon has about 10-12 skillshots that can be performed with it, some weapons require an upgraded special ability before all of them can be completed.. Skillshots include shooting an enemy in the balls then kicking there head off, firing a sniper rifles seeker shot and then controlling the enemy it hits into another enemy then exploding, blasting an enemy into a spiked wall, leashing an enemy and then kicking them and shooting them ect. There are also a list of non specific weapon related skillshots like kicking an enemy off of a cliff.. This adds an independant challenge to the game to try to acquire all of the skillshots which is fun itself. The game was pretty easy for me mainly because of how powerful the weapons are, and how plentiful and easy it is to acquire ammo.. The weapons in this game are all alot of fun to use and some are pretty unique.. The seeker sniper rifle with explosive rounds was my weapon of choice. Most of the game was very fun, but at points it did seem to descend into mediocrity around midway through the game but them picked itself back up pretty quickly.. Theres a story here and its fun and entertaining to go through, especially with the funny dialouge and banter between characters.. The graphics in the game are pretty good but not great, the environments are all brightly colored and at times beautiful, the character models are very well done indeed. The sound effects and music in the game are all great they even have disco inferno playing at a bar in the game while your slaughtering enemies. Overall if you like the arcadey types of FPSs or even if you don't you will problary enjoy this game.
