Yes, this is what I'm talking about. Bully is one of those great games that doesn't dissapoint. The free-roaming is still there, but not as ground-breaking as San Andreas. Most of the roaming is around Bullworth Academy, every bullies dream school. Graphics is pure Rockstar surprise. It is, by far, the best graphically detailed game yet. The environment is beautiful and doesn't make you feel like a complete stranger around the place. Sound is also brilliant, with over 40,000 lines of dialogue. Impressive. The control is what really boosts Bully into stardom. Think of it as a mixture of previous Rockstar Games. The stealth from Manhunt, the awesome hand-to-hand combat in The Warriors, the driving simulation of Midnight Club 3 and the free-roaming environment of GTA. Yes, there us a great variety of things. The game is long, but it really doesn't matter, as long as you're in to it for the fun. Not to say Bully is a completely perfect game. There is the regular glitchy camera and the student dialogue is mixed in with some of the greatest parts. But, needless to say, Bully is a great way to honour what a PS2 can really do.
