Rockstar is the grand daddy of free roaming games, and this just adds to a list of already incredible games.

User Rating: 9 | Bully PS2
Bully is what some people would consider grand theft auto in high school, but it is much more than that. Rockstar has created yet another fantastic game. Jimmy Hopkins is badass. he's one of the most badass characters in ps2 gaming yet (not even close to Kratos but hes still awesome). There are so many characters in this game that you would think that rockstar would just not bother with the character development and focus on the core gameplay. the people in this game are almost perfectly steriotyped and let me say, gary, the antagonist, is such a mother f***ing jerk that you are going to want to do very very bad things to him by the end of the game. the voice acting is very well done and the facial expressions and lip movements match the acting perfectly.

The mission structure to the game is similar to grand theft auto, but without cars, it is such a pain in the neck to get around everywhere. but still, the missions follow the story, are pretty fun, and everyone is very different. I personally thought that the game was too short. until i looked at the playing time on my save file and it said 16 hours to complete the game. i was truly so hooked to it that I wasnt really paying attention to how long i was playing this game. it took me about two days to finish.

After you finish the game, there is this endless summer thing. really, unless you are a completist, you shouldnt really bother. its just looking for rubber bands and all that crap. there are some bike races and carnival games, but its not going to hold you playing for that long.

the graphics, like grand theft auto's, are not great. because it is a open world, your going to see a lot of blur and textures that really shouldnt be this bad. the cutscene character faces look pretty good, but thats saying a lot.

Overall, I would highly recommend this game to anyfan of grand theft auto or any action adventure games, because it is among the best of the ps2s collection.
