A good, yet easy, GTA high school game

User Rating: 9.2 | Bully PS2
Bully plays out a lot like GTA meets the warriors, possibly starring Ajax (the muscle fighter from the warriors) as a kid. the game sets you off as a troubled kid on his 7th 1st day of school after being expalled from his perivious ones, his mother has remarried for the 5th it seems and is going away on her honeymoon leaving you at your new school bullworth. as soon as your droped of you are taken through some basic actions which explain the game, how to fight, how to aviod getting busted, the different clicks around the school (nerds, jocks etc....) and also your classes after that its up to you to sort the school out. despite the name rather then bullying kids (which you can do) your mission is to end the bullying through use of force and tactics, missions play out as either helping the click to gain trust or working with its rivals to bring it down, you also help out your pervert gym and alcholic english teacher along the way, the missions arent hard and i never really had to attempt them more then once but they are intersenting enough not to make it a low point, your day is broken into roughly 20 hrs with you waking up at 8am and passing out at 2 am between that time you can attend 2 classes a day and as many missions as you can fit in. the classes play out as mini games and give you valuable upgrade such as weapons (chemistry) fighting moves (gym) and taunting ability (english) there are others but those are the main ones (shop, photography, art are in there as well) the game allows free movment but you are restricted to the school for the first chapter( which is still quite large) prefects (the schools guards, hall monitiors whatever you want to call them) are the law enforces, commit a crime and they will case you down, force has no effect at the begining so running becomes you best friend however when you are being bullied your self a quick dash into their line of sight will cause your attackers to break off, all in all their usefulness wears off in the game as you get stronger. Overall the game looks good, plays well and has a very nice frame rate, the sound is good but nothing over the top or anything that stands out. the characters will have you liking them or hating them but are designed to be very stero typical ( inbreed rich kids and nerds with weak arms and weak bladders are some of the few). Again bully plays as a great game and its side quests can keep you entertained long after the story ends
Well worth the money but no 2 player mini games which could have been fitted in
