Another great game from Rockstar. It was well worth the wait and is arguably the best game frrom this company yet.

User Rating: 9.3 | Bully PS2
Bully is essentially Grand Theft Auto in a school-type setting. You play a 15 year old mischevious teenager named Jimmy Hopkins. The story starts off with your mother and her new husband driving you to Bullworth Academy, the "toughest" school around. Jimmy clearly isnt fond of his stepfather or the fact that his mother and him are dumping him off at this school for an entire year while their going on a cruise. Early on in his stay at Bullworth, Jimmy realizes the bullying at the school is relentless and he begins to do something about it with the help of a sociopath named Gary, who shares similar beliefs. Gameplay: The gameplay is probably the stongest aspect of this game because there is just so much of it. There are many little extra gameplay mechanics that are really put to good use in the game. Some examples of this is Go-Kart racing, bike races, class minigames, picking lockers, and there are even some arcade games in it. Each of these things are done quite well and the game does a great job of introducing these to you at some point in the game. The main part of the gameplay, the fighting, is very addicting. It manages to stay this way as you learn new moves.

Graphics: They arent necessarily what i would expect from this game but they are still nice. These graphis are probably the best for a Rockstar game i have seen up until this point. But the ps2 isnt capable of too much more, especially in a game like this where the environments are very big. The character models are usually very good, occasionally life-like. Some of the facial expressions that the characters get while fighting are amusing as well. Sound: This game has an original musical score and it always seem to set a sort of atmosphere im not familiar with, but is still awesome. The voice acting is just great and it helps to kind of bring the character to life in a way. The sound effects are just solid throughout, no complaints there.

Value: This is an interesting section as you will spend probably spend around 25 hours on the game your first time through if you take time to do minigames and side missions and general screwing around. But this 25 hours will sort of seem to fly by, and you will probably finish the whole game in under a months time. Apart from that the adventure does have a satisfying length. Basically Bully is a very worthwhile game any PS2 owner should at least try out and any GTA fan should jus buy it without thinking, thats what i did.
