This is a great game, it has good graphics, great gameplay, and a surprisingly good story line. You are basicly a kid (Jimmy Hopkins) whos mom keeps moving on to different men, and keeps having to go to different schools, for being expelled from the others. The fighting system is great, and when you get farther into the game and find transistors, then give them to the hobo behind the school, heel teach you moves from the marines. Also, if you go to gym class, youll learn wrestling moves. I actually thought that Rockstar did a good job on the classes. Are basicly a minigame, in chemestry, it is a series of button pressing, like DDR. In art, you have to fill out a certain percentage of the painting while avoiding erasers, etc. In English, well english always sucks, and its not much different in the game, but you have to find as much words that you can in a bunch of scrambled letters. In Gym, you just wrestle some fat kid and learn moves. But after each class you complete, you get a reward. In Art, it gives you ability to kiss girls. In english, it gives you the ability to sweet talk your way out of trouble. In Chemestry, it gives you the ability to make all sorts of weapons. Last, this game puts you in a whole new setting, school. The school setting is really cool because you get to beat up nerds, and even bullies. Overall a great, game and a must get for the casual PS2 owner. A 9.5.
