Much is spoken about this game. And not in a good way... But this very controversial game turns out to be quite n
GTA, Manhunt and now a game about Bully's. It seems that Rockstar likes to live on the edge eh?:)
The game is about a kid named Jimmy whose parents are divorced, again and again , homeproblems etc etc. School is not going well also, so bad that Jimmy is being sent to ...school.
(cant come up that word for school..) While his mom and her no. ? boyfriend are off for vacation on a fancy cruiseship.
Ok the game itself. Bully is often been comparised with the GTA series, like a GTA on school or something. But this isnt entirely true.
Technically it runs on the same engine, but the feel is very different.
The game is based around a daily scheme of things you do on a school.
Like sleeping, chasing girls, hanging around, drink cola, and eh class lessons.:) As Jimmy, you have to do with other students ofcourse. . And like in the real world you have different groups, like the nerds, sportsjocks, moto fonzies & the snobby inbred.:) Whats cool is that the students arent generic characters, each one has reacts different! There are like 60+ students, and you can make a photo of everyone for the schoolalbum.
Ok but what about the goal of this game? Well the goal is...too own the schoolyard and beat everyone up! And eh learn something during classes along the way too, which are quite fun actually:) Ok you can bully around if you will, but the game doesn't encourage this. It doesn't bring you further. (normally:)
So you politicians can back off now. Good.
Once you progress in the game you may leave the schoolyard and go the village. Which is very cool also. Btw the game has 4 seisons, beginning in Autumn, winter (snow Yippie!), Spring and after youve completed the storyand not youre going on vacation, neverending summer haha. Ok now breaking it down.
The story is well told with terrific voiceacting (just pull someone's pensy over his head) , its got lots of humor (Unlike GTA SA), lots of attention to detail, and its a bit short.
Huh? Well short if you compare it too GTA:SA yes. But which game isnt?
