I bought this game instead of Portal and DMC3SE.And it was worth it.The story.Somewhat witty,somewhat epic,somewhat crazy.Im not gonna spoil it tho.The graphics are great for a PlayStation 2 game.The gameplay is like gta mostly.You can do missions and Faction Challenges,but it also has the free roam part.You can steal bikes and mopeds,egg people and cars,just run around,buy stuff,chat with people or in one word theres a whole bunch of stuff for you to do!Its like the GTA formula in a school theme,which in the gaming world is completely unique.But with great power comes responsibility. You cant just go around towns.You have to worry about your friendship with the town owning faction.Lets say that if your preppie(one of the factions) friendship is 25%,they'll attack you when they see you.You have to worry about it until the end of the story.You play as a 15-year old boy Jimmy Hopkins.Rest of this story would be spoilers.And there are school rules.You have to go to lessons,The curfew is at 11pm,Lessons are at 9 am and 1pm. But after those you have so much time.When you put it all together you get something magical and it really deserves a 10!
