Some of the greatest hours I have spent playing a game!
Gameplay: 9.0.
I would have to say, although rooted deep into the old school arcade genre, this game holds up suprisingly well. When I first started to play it, I was a little bewildered at the fact that there was no dual control stick control option, but after learning about the Lock On and Strafe abilities, I was hooked on. The controls are pretty much perfect, although Bruce seems to like to Lock on to Zombies that are alot farther away than the ones that are about to gnaw your face off.
Graphics: 9.5.
I love the graphical style of this game. It reminded me of a comic book, but come to life. Sure, there is alot of blood (and when I say alot, I mean alot) and everything looks pretty awesome. There are alot of little details that it seems like they might have been hard to spot if I didn't have a sharp eye for them, such as the sign in the drive thru (please dont make a real movie out of that idea) and the fact that when the zombies are done burning, they are charred and such.
Fun: 9.0
This game is fun, although it is a little overwhelming, and a little low on variety. Through out the game, you have a score you need to reach. Now it doesn't seem that hard at first, until your reach the last level and every zombie from everywhere is after you and you just keep dieing and dieing and repeat, but your lucky, seeing as you can have a buddy jump in and save you. Unfortunatly, this is only Local, as there is no online co-op, but I would rather have a buddy at my house so we could trash talk each other, than some random dude on the internet.
Overall: 9.0
This game is pretty much a must own, although if you know someone who has it, try it there first, seeing as you may or may not be ready for the insane challenge that comes throughout the game.
