With good graphics and cool music, Burnin Road is a very challenging and intense old-school racing game.
It's a simple and fun game, just like old-school arcades like daytona U.S.A used to be, just choose your car and run. But don't let the game's simplicity fool you, it's a hell of a difficult game, even in the easy mode its very challenging. One mistake is enough to make you go from the first place to the last place. So you can expect some intense racing here.
The game runs in a very high frame rate for Playstation 1 standards, and has no slowdown, the cars looks really solid and feels heavy, the track designs are very good, the graphics and sound aren't spectacular, but does the job very well.
Burning Road has a points system based on the time left after finishing a track and the position you got on the race, when you beat the game or lose, it saves your points high-score.
A Time Attack mode would add some replay to Burning Road, but, overall, its a good game, and one of my favourite racing game on ps1.
