I've never really liked racing games, but Burnout 2 drove right into my heart. This game is awesome!

The graphics are very good. Especially the environment is great with all the details and fine lighting effects. The crashes is without any question the best I've ever seen a racing game. Windows exploding, doors and other car parts flying through thee air and some huge trucks and buses to smash up your car. There are some courses that have some very nice lighting effests during sunset, dawn and night. It's a pitty the game doesn't have the real car logos and so on but that's just a minor thing. The sound effects are great with some pretty impressive details such as the sound during drifting. Hearing the boost is also pretty impressive and reminds you of the bad movie Fast and the Furious. The music is also pretty good. There are some cool tunes with loud electrical guitars and some good drums. The gameplay is very good. In Burnout you didn't have the Crash mode, and I'm glad they added it to Burnout 2, cause it's fantastic. The plot is pretty crazy, but tippity toppety fun fun fun. The Persuit mode is also pretty cool. It's not as entertaining as the Crash mode and neither so well made, it's taken from NFS Hot Persuit 2 and it's even better than the one in NFS. This game is a must for everyone who search for a racing game. You may also take a look at the forthcomming F-zero GX + Fine graphics and sounds. The crash mode is cool, and the persuit mode is entertaining. The crashes is the best ever, and is so realistic it's scary. There are many courses both in racing and crash, and there are a fine number of cars to chouse from. - The single player isn't that long. If you don't like racing games...
