A good fun game
The championship mode has now been revamped, this time when you start a grand prix you don't have credits and it makes it less frustrating. But it can still piss you off at times because as soon as you finish a race the game auto-saves so getting all gold medals require patience. But say if you were not in first place near the finish line you could switch off the console before you cross the finish. If you want all of the cars you need to finish first place in all the races in the grand prix. Once you have all the gold medals you will unlock a face off where you face against one car. These cars don't go easy on you either but once you beat it that car will be available for you to drive and smash up. Also in championship mode you will come across a pursuit mode where you are in a cop car and the aim is to ram the other car off the track, the car that you manage to cripple will be available.
Once you have done some of these the pursuit mode will become available. Unfortunately the crash replay system that was in the first game is not featured in this title but there is a crash mode where you have to slam into some traffic for points in this mode each major impact bursts into a slow motion multiangle replay showing off just how much damage you have caused in amazing detail. These crashes don't become dull when you have seen a couple either. But the hard part here is that some people may find it too difficult to unlock some of the best cars.
Overall. The cars are great, the graphics are impressive and the speeds insane and the crashes are brilliant. A masterpiece.
