I am NOT a racing game fan at all. I decided to rent BO3 after i saw a friend play it. I was hooked the minute i completed my first race. The graphics on this game are top notch. From the motion blur effect used to represent high speeds, down to the fantastic crashes that show every bit of damage throughout the car, this game shines. The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard this side of GTA. The theme of the soundtrack is an alt-rock/punk sound that works great with the racing. The controls are some of the easiest to pick up and play. You only need one analog stick, both shoulder buttons, and the A buttton for boost; that's it. If you want to use the rear-view button, that's an easy push away. Although the single player experience is great, the online portion is a must-play. Yes, you get the 13 year olds who want to curse and tell you how bad they are, but i've run into a great group of guys and girls who enjoy the game and know how to compliment eachother when you race well, and know how to throw in a little smack when it's necessary. All in all, this game is a must buy for all racing fans, and game fans in general. Give it a chance before you throw it into the racing catagory, it may surprise you.
