A fast paced almost, action-racing game that will make you cringe when you ram an opponent fastback head-on into a bus.

Criteron Has always made solid games, (Fur Fighters, Burnout 1, Burnout 2) but since their recent partnership with EA, their games are filled with more online, and just alot more potential.

Adding a decent soundtrack of well known artists is a good way to play a racing game, but whats better than racing to your own tunes? Make huge lists of songs that you burned to your Xbox and blare them while raging against computer cars.

Not having Xbox live, I may never know what it is like to play any of the best multiplayer games for the Xbox, but I still enjoy singleplayer and multiplayer races and road rage.

The graphics never cease to amaze me. Possible ont of the most advanced graphic presentations for the console games, burnout takes every piece of glass, every tire, every bumper down to the last detail and does it in slowmotion for some of the most realistic looking crashes ever seen. Sometimes, it's almost too realistic and disturbing to watch.

The sounds are good, many diffrent noises for the cars getting beat up and smashed, but that guy on the radio gets annoying fast, and he's always going on about usless information. The engines really capture the car and you haven't heard fast until you unlock the indy car.

Burnout doesn't come with a story, no cinematic scenes, just all out rage fueled racing that comes in a variety of modes.

Road Rage- You are speeding throught the streets against waves of unlimited spawning enemies that you must force off of the road. Each opponent crashed gives you a point

Sprints- Get from point A to point B before the other racers.

Circuits- around and around and around for a certain number of laps. Come out ahead of your oppenents.

Crash- Cause as much damage as possible in set up senarios that each last less than a minute.

Tournaments- Place good in several races to rack up points and beat the crowd.

More- Im sure there's the standard time attack.
