I have been a big fan of racing games ever since I was a little kid, but never have I experienced such a deep and thrilling racing experience with an amazing sense of speed!!! I've also played Burnout 1 and 2, and this one is the best yet!!! Before it was released, I was reading good things about it in the magazines, and I was already waiting for it, and I must say that this one was definitely worth the wait. I got this game as soon as it came out. I got into the game the minute I put the controller into my hands. All those changes were amazing, such as Takedowns into almost anything which allows you to expand your Boost Bar and steal your opponents' Boost , there are actually names for you crash moves!!!! Impact Time, which allows you to steer your car after crashing, how cool is that? There is also great additions to the Crash Mode such as Cash Bonuses, Instant Boost, Cash Multipliers, and Crashbreakers! The cars in the beginning might not be so good, but when you get through the game, you'll get amazing ones, such as the ones in the Super Series, and even the Classic Hotrod if you win all the Special Events!! In crash mode, you can also get crash headlines if your crash annihilates most of everything! I got them all and unlocked the Firetruck which is the ultimate Crash vehicle. There is exactly100 crash junctions, isn't that amazing? The racing was soooo fast, especially a Burning Lap with the US Circuit Racer, WHOOOHOO!!!!!! The first time I ever played this game, I was whooping soooo loud, my mom came and asked me what's wrong. There obviously wasn't anything wrog, but my only reply was :"BURNOUT 3, YEEAAH!!!!!!: You want speed? You want carnage? You got it!!!!
One of the best features of this game was the graphics. The graphics were excellent!!!! Most of everything reflects onto your shiny car, and the crashes look ever so realistic. Lots of the places are extremely detailed too. The framerate is also pretty smooth, so the game won't slow down. Not to mention the sparks are well done to the extreme!!!!!!
Another change I noticed was that this game had a DJ named Stryker who puts music on Crash FM and gives the latest Burnout updates. He is sorta funny, but he repeats what he says. The music might be a bit cheesy, but I forgive that, because the sound effects are amazing! The crashes sound realistic, and the boost sounds great!!
