It's hard not to love this game, simply for it's pleasure you feel when playing it. Almost a guilty pleasure at least.
When you're in a race, it seems quite realistic. The cars haven't got the best of low-down graphics, but all around, it's pretty neat.
Now the crashes! That's a different story! When you crash your car in a 'crash 4 cash' event, there always apposes a challenge. Trying to cause as much damage as possible, at any cost! Every kid wants to crash and destroy something, why not revolve a video game around it? The graphics in the crashes are utterly amazing! From the tanks toppling over and smashing into little blue cars, all the way down to the fine tones and placements of the sparks, or the skid marks, or broken pieces of wood shattered everywhere when you smack it with your car.
The sound is awesome, it's another one of those games you can have a costum CD soundtrack to listen to. Their choice of music is a high ranker with me though. Major artists and quality sounds.
