I would say that EA Games have outdone themselves with Burnout 3. Dare I say this game looks better, faster, and is more addictive than Need for Speed 2: Hot Pursuit?? The sheer sense of speed in Burnout 3 is incredible, especially while playing in Road Rage mode. Anyone that has to sit through traffic to get to work every day must love Road Rage mode...what a stress reliever. The other racing modes are just as addictive, and some of the crashes you can create are unbelievable. No need to worry about juicing up your car..all your cars are fast and nicely polished, making them great demolition toys. The particle effects are awesome and the cars look great as they come apart. The controls are tight and 100% responsive. The only thing that somewhat sucks are the music tracks and the annoying DJ. I shut off that option about an hour into playing and hooked up my own tracks! I think EA games should acquire the Driver franchise and teach Atari how it's done with a Driver 4! The way EA has perfected the vehicle physics and graphics engine, they can't go wrong! Everyone who owns an X-Box should run out today and buy this game, you will not be disappointed!
