Racing fun for beginners, too easy for advanced drivers.

I was waiting to get Burnout Legends before trying this game but a friend gave it too me as a gift. I’ve enjoyed playing Burnout 3 Takedown on Playstation 2 so I’ve have a little high expectation when starting to play this game. There is no crash mode like BO3 for starters. The Difficulty on this game was a bit average at first but once you start unlocking the faster cars it gets very easy (no difficulty setting). There are a lot of races (88 in total) with a lot of different objectives while most are easy to obtain. There is not a lot of tracks as you will recognize the backgrounds very easily but you go in different directions and roadblocks change the routes from race to race. While the action is fast the load times were decent. The graphics on the cars and roads are fairly detailed even though it’s made up cars you can see a resemblance to real life vehicles. It doesn’t have the same lag as Grand Theft Auto games where the faster you go the PSP has trouble drawing the roads. My favorite is the Road Rage objectives where you have to run your opponents off the road. The sound effects are decent and the soundtrack is fairly good with 36 tracks to playing. As value goes, it offers a lot as a single player game. I haven’t tried the multi player as of yet but it looks fun. If you’re looking for a racing game that’s fun this is not a bad choice.
