Dominator introduces nothing new, despite this, you will still play a solid driving game.
You still select and take part in events, similar to the selection to Burnout Revenge, as you complete events, you earn points. Enough points allows you to rank up onto the bigger and better cars.
The usual events are still in the game, with the exception of Crash and Traffic Attack which has been removed along with traffic checking. The new mode in the game is Maniac, which allows you to full up you meter and boost until it drains, refilling it in time before it runs out allows you to boost again, earning you a burnout point, as in Burnout 1 and 2. The takedowns, vertical takedowns, aftertouches and crashbreakers still exist in this game. Revenge takedowns also exist, however on a smaller scale as the last game boosted about it.
The graphics seemed to have downgraded. It hard for me to say that it's a breakthrough, however the geometry is still solid, the motion blurs and other effects have been dubbed down or taken away. It feels every edgy. This is another point where the game loses a point.
The game takes out some of the features and event which were huge in Takedown and Revenge and re arranged some of the old formula from the first two Burnout games and make another game, however on a smaller scale and gave us Dominator. However, there no mistaken that the gameplay remains, which offers us a different Burnout experience that is still solid.
