Nothing Else Needed

User Rating: 9.1 | Burnout Legends PSP

Let me begin by saying this game is a must have for all burnout fans. Portable, great graphics, good audio, and the gameplay is incredible.
For those who have not played the burnout series the main objective, as in any racing game, is to win the race... the only exception in this game, is you take as many people to hell with you, as you possibly can.
And this game not only has racing mind you, there are several different unique "events" you can participate in eg.

Road rage- Tear up the road and make your rivals crash in giant heaps of flaming metal.

Persuit- Take control of a cop car and make the bad guy crash in a giant heap of flaming metal

Various other events that end up crashing other people until all thats left of them is giant heaps of flaming metal.

Mind you, each event carries with it its own significant dash of something that keeps it completely different than all the other events.

The graphics are some of the best I've seen on a portable, the frame rate is incredible, since I have found alot of racing games not to give the sense of speed it should have, but burnout legends delivers.

The audio is also great, there is a good selection of music that seems to fit the game perfectly. And yet, I some times found my self wishing that more of an array of music had been put on it, but all in all, it is not a major issue.

So, Out of all I have just said, let me finish by stating this is a great game for portables since you can jump right into the action than jump right out anytime you wish without feeling the loss of not getting to another stage or aquiring another car.

Theres nothing more satisfying than pushing the car that just rammed you- off the road, plummeting off the cliff over a lake to have time stop, and a comical blurb appear saying "gone fishin"
