Burnout is an awesome racing game for the psp that combines awesome gameplay with great graphics. This game's graphics are pretty sweet. They are like psone graphics but stepped up and more polished. There are no frame rate issues either although i did have issues with some glitches. The graphics are good and shows the psp's potential. Sound in the game was alright. The only sound you hear is car engines and cars crashing. There is also music which was good. The soundtrack was ok because theres mostly unknown artists in there. There was a major problem with the music however, I hated being in a race and then the song ends a big banner comes in front of the screen and displays the name of the next song. This may not seem like alot but after a while it was very annoying. The controls were tight ( especially if you buy the replacement analog nubs from EB.com) and always worked for me. The gameplay was amazingly addictive and fun. This game has elements from takedown and revenge so you get the best of both worlds. The single player is good and shows complete similarties to takedown's single playergame. I often found myself crying that there was no online lol it was a big upset. The gameplay is great especially just playin road rage forever and getting a new high score and maybe unlocking new cars. This game is the best alternative sports game for the psp and is incredibly addictive.
