Burnout Revenge pushes the limit to racing games with even more to offer than before. Stunning.

Burnout Revenge rocks. There. Done. Buy it. $25 at Best Buy is a steal.
OK, if you have played TakeDown, then you know that Burnout rocks.

IMPROVEMENTS OVER BURNOUT 3: First of all, there is a new game mode, which is called Traffic Attack. You have to DESTROY AS MANY CARS AS YOU CAN! If you played a Burnout game before, you're probably thinking "Oh, thats Crash Mode with a new name!" It's not. Crash mode is still here, and its better too, but we'll get to that later. Traffic Attack is just you on a race track with a mere 20 seconds to check as many cars as possible. 20 seconds is not enough, so every time you check a car, you earn more time. It starts out fun, then becomes challenging. Graphics are better. Sound is better. Gameplay is the same, fun game from before. Crash Mode is better because it doesn't take Crash Junctions from tracks you've raced before. You ONLY see them in Crash Mode. Plus, if you destroy enough cars, you tap B as fast as you can to generate a CrashBreaker, which explodes your car!!! Weeeeee! CrashBreaker has improved races, because in some you are able to generate a CrashBreaker (with its power depending on how high your boost bar is filled. On a couple occasions I was able to get "Instant Revenge" on all five burners against me! It was a "Total Takedown"! OTHER COOLNESS!:
it has a cool modern rock soundtrack, the graphics own, CrashBreaker is fun to use, and multiplayer is the BEST. Also, BR has some of the simplest controls ever conceived in a game. R=Gas L=Brakes A=Boost. SIMPLE!

DOWNSIDES!OH NO!: The bad parts about BR are:
There is an annoying camera problem on Crash Mode so you can't see where your car is going, and when you use the "Crash Cam" to see the Crash Junction, you have to watch it all the way back in a strangely-red tinted sepia-ness time-stop, like you just got stoned or something. Also, on some races, it won't let you retry if you got a star rating on it for the first time. Finally, there is a "Break On Through" by The Doors remix. WHAT?!!? The Doors own by themself! They don't need some gay guy doing a remix!

But still, the game seems to love gritty urban environments (which is a frequent modern game cliche). Burnout 3 costs five dollars more, for some reason, but is way better than Burnout Revenge on several levels.

Overall, Burnout: Revenge is an crazy game worth what you pay for.
PROS:
-Cool Trophies
-Amazing Graphics, including sweet damage animations
-Some good songs
-CrashBreaker!
-It's really fun! Especially Multiplayer!
CONS:
-Repetitive and often uninteresting use of graphics within races.
-Annoying Crash Mode camera problems and "Crash Cam"
-Can't retry races sometimes
-Stupid "Break On Through" remix
-Some bad songs
-Seems to immeadiatly become uninteresting once you reach Elite level.

Either buy Burnout 3, or both Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge.
