Racing doesnt get better than this!!
Well first of all, this game has amazing graphics. This game really shwos the power of the xbox. I love how u can see the reflections of the buildings and things in your car. The graphics are just plain amazing.
Another great aspect is the gameplay. In the racing mode, it is really easy to just jump in and play. I mean seriously, all you need to do is press the acceleration and boost buttons. But the game does get challenging. IN the early stages of the game, enemies wont take you down as much. But when you start getting to levels 5 or 6, youll start getting slammed into walls and crashing due to other racers. Another thing that makes it harder, is the speed. As you progress through the levels, you get faster cars. At the beginning, the cars go about 160 mph. But as you reach levels 7 and 8, the speeds go over 200 mph. The speeds make it a little harder to control, but you get used to it.
If you have xbox live, the value is great. Its so much fun to race online or see who can do the most damage in crash mode. The soundtrack isnt that good from my perspective, a lot of new punk bands, but the game also has custom soundtracks, so its fine with me. The sound overall though is great. Its really sounds like a car.
So, all in all, burnout revenge is a great buy for any racing game fan. If you not a fan of racers, its still worth a rent.
