This game started with such a basic game mechanic. Revenge. I hate that person. He keeps drafting and passing me. I want to cause him lots of pain, and make him lose the game. The game takes this and gives you a variety of methods to accomplish this. Put him into the wall, jump onto his head, or send him head-on into a bus. This simply never gets old. Couple this with intense multiplayer and you've got a fantastic game.
The only real problem I had with the game was it's facination with these crash courses. It's always fun to see how much destruction you can cause, but they took it to too high a level. The boards got old after a while, and I wanted to go back to racing and revenge.
Overall a fantastic game and series. Buy one of the Burnout series plus Mario Kart and you are set for racers.
