Would I pay money for this? No, nuff'said.
Although the Cabal Online website (US/CANADA) may have you psyched and ready to get into their world of kick butt armor and massive weapons you may be disapointed once you actually get into the game. - The characters look 'nothing' like what they appear on the website and the oversized weapons are not very original, they almost look like every other 'oversized' weapon in any other Korean MMORPG....
You start the game in a training territory where you take a few quests, the first is to get acquainted with masters, who are pretty much useless since 2 levels later you are teleported somewhere else. (makes no sense but a lot of this game defies logic.) After this you must kill a few.. 'things' and return to the 'master' to receive your reward (sound familiar??) after all of this you slowly start to notice Cabal Online is not much fun, and remember this is only level 2-3...
The grind in this game is horrible, it's all you do - I suppose it would not be so bad if you could admire the great graphics.. but alas... The graphics are not that great either... "blur" is actually an "effect" - Call me crazy but if "blurring" the graphics is meant to make them look better... is that not an admission by the very people who made the game that the graphics suck?
Anyways you will get sick of this game fast, the camera is bad for example W moves you forward but it will not turn your character.. e.q - if your character is facing you and you press "W" he will run towards you ... not turn around and run forward.... frustrating and non intuitive to say the least...
If your idea of a good time is killing uncreative monsters and having people 10-20 levels higher than you constantly asking you for a duel this is your game... If you love bad graphics and a short supply of items this is also your game....
OH* This game literally has no story .. none it does not make sense.
