This game was a huge surprise. It is fun, easy to play, and addicting.
Alaskan Adventure was a huge surprise to me. I just picked it up as a random game and it turned out to be quite good. Its fun, easy to play, and very addicting.
You get to hunt various animals such as deer, elk, wolves, foxes, even grizzlies! You can stop by the Outpost, which is like the store, and buy different weapons, items, clothing, animal lures, and other items. The weapons vary from shotguns, rifles, and pistols and have many to choose from. As you progress in the game they have a stat building feature that unfortuanutely doesnt work out that great because every time you enter a new area, the stats go back to the default setting. For fishing, it isnt that fun and has no real benefit, but is necesary if you want to venture on in Alaska.
The game itself grows on you and is very addicting. Getting to the next stage of the game and wondering what new weapons and items you will get really keeps you going as do the achievements.
The game is pretty easy, and it has a difficulty setting. Some challenges like fishing, dog sledding, and bird shooting can be tricky but are never difficult. It is a good game to pick up and play whenever you want and has pretty good gameplay.
Good points: Easy, fun, addicting gameplay, many weapons to choose from, fairly long adventure that doesnt get repetetive, many animals to hunt, many challenges.
Bad points: Some hunts get annoying; you will be walking around aimlessly sometimes, you run out of stamina when running and have to constantly stop, 3 strike system if you hunt wrong animal that is illegal (which happends alot and automatically fails hunt), annoying hunting guides, graphics are bad, fishing can be long and tedious.
