AMAZING
Story
IN this agme you play as a hunter who travels around the world trying to save animals and make a living by killing animals. There are poachers ruining the enviroment which you have to stop. The plot isn't very deep, but the ending is great. GREAT.
Graphics
The graphics in this game are Amazing, possibly some of the best I have seen on the psp. The game is set in a 3D enviroment that has no limits to where you can go, which was very cool. The cinematics in the game are better than the cinematics for Socom.
Gameplay
The gameplay here awesome. I played this game straight through without stopping. Let me say this game is short!! But thats the story mode. The story mode took me an hour and ahalf to beat on easy mode but the game stayed fresh the whole way through. Every level was new and there wasn't any repitition. There are goals in each level such as saving kids, keeping them alove, getting to control towers, sniping wild animals from a helicopter and many more. Besides the story mode there is quick action mode which bostes tons of missions like 14 and they all are just plain hunting, it's very fun. There are two difficulty settings and there are tons of unlockables. In the levels there are stumps that you shoot five in each level, but you need to find them. You get secrets and bonus levels for finding all of them. So I kept wanting more.
Controls
The controls are terrible when you first tern the game on but ythere are 4 different control schemes. The second one is the best. The controls feel right for an FPS. You can crouch, zoom in, reload whenever you want, and you can go into bullettime, this is awesome.
Sound
The sound in this game is great if you are wearing headphones because it creates an amazing atmosphere because of the surround sound. Some of the gun shots are to loud which is the only problem in terms of sound
Everything else
-No multiplayer
- There are other people that walk around in the levels with you.(fellow hunters) which make the game feel like your playting with somebody else.
- Mission where your shooting arrows at elephants from the back of a speeding truck while they try to tackle you.
- Tons of weapons
-tons of animals including HOGZILLA. Which is a giant pig.
Negative
- Animals jump out when you elast expect them. This is scary sometimes but at times frustrating.
- There are bee hives and the bees attack you if you dont shoot the bee hive.
- I practically never died in the game. It's to easy but I was on easy mode.
LIke I said I dont liek hunting but I love FPS. I loved hunting in the game because it felt right. I have played all the FPS games on the PSP and this one is the best. IT is one of my favorite games for the psp. If you are looking for something short and sweet but want to keep comming back for more Cabellas Dangherous Hunts is the game for you!!!
