Caesar is a simple, easy and direct game regarding city building of Ancient Rome. Yes, it’s simple and yes, it’s easy. But for the time when the game first came out, it was challenging and fun. Created in the early, dawn of the PC gaming world, in the PRE-windows style...that's DOS for you young people...this game open doors in sandbox play. This game is neither complex, nor challenging, but it does have a flow that makes it involving when trying to create a new Rome. Again...it's a DOS Pre-windows game and with that...it was a very good game. But a true game for city building is Caesar III.
