Lets get one thing out of the way before i start.I'm a huge fan of war games, especially the COD franchise. But this new instalment left me feeling disapointed.BRO at first seems like an honest COD game. But the more i played it and further i got into it i began to realize its flaws. One of the most annoying itches is the A.I. If the Germans were as dumb as their videogame counter parts, they wouldnt have the common sense to shoot at an enemy thats right in front of them much less take over our country.Dont get me wrong, its not,OMFG YOU GUYS ARE DUMB-ASSES!! bad,but it will still agrivate you.On the mission An Easy Detail I was crouched right behind a german and i shot him in the leg. After he collected himself,he turned around and fired two shots over my head before realizing i was a foot infront of him and bashed me with his weapon.BRO Still has its moments. Two of the most exciting levels are The Dragon's Teeth and Crucifix Hill.I was playing CH and my blood was pumping, bullets were flying and all you could hear over the gunfire was German gibberish. But as soon as the firefight ended,my adrenaline is going, and i realize my squad isnt with me.So i turn around and walk all the way back to see two of my men still crouched behind cover fireing at a wall.I needed them to advance and they wouldnt move so i had to restart the level, killing the experience.Another nagging factor is the length. This game has 13 missions, but if you play it non-stop you'll be done in a day. Although the A.I is dumb, your Squad mates, although slightly steriotypical, each have their own personality and you will grow to like them. Also the game does a nice job of mixing up the gameplay types, going from a tank to storming a beach,to dropping bombs from your fighter.Overall give this a rent.If your planing on getting a 360,do yourself a favor and get COD2 on the 360 instead.
