Call of Duty 2: Big Red One is a game that has a marvelous one person campaign, but the rest is rather lackluster. The campaign is very nicely designed, with great missions that are all very neat, including missions where you control a bombsight in a bomber, or take out Stukas in a half-track. The campaign is of descent length too. The areas where COD2 falls short is that for one, there is no 2 player mode. The online play is also very bland, with no ranking system, loads of lag, and minimal features. The games final shortcoming is the fact that it has rather low-quality graphics. It's 2006 guys... this game looked more like a PS1 game.
Gameplay earned a 7/10. Missions are fun at first, but get very hard later on, and frustrating, and long, and boring. Online play is horrible, with no solid features, and plenty of lag and glitches.
Graphics earned a 6/10, again, it's 2006, get with the program guys.
Sound was just fine, 8/10. Although, at times, orders can be hard to identify which direction they're coming from. The game must have been made in mono or something.
Value got a 7/10.
Tilt, with the bad online play, but excellent campaign, just barely earned a 6/10 from me.
