Holds Up incredibly well on the X-Box.

Call of Duty 3 is a very exciting and action packed FPS for the X-Box gaming system. It doesn't feature anything you haven't seen before but what it does do it does quite well. I was very impressed with the single player portion of this game. (I didn't play multi at all) In fact, this game is so well done, it may be one of those you will desire to play over again on a harder difficulty level. In this game you will play as either an American, French Resistance, Polish, or Canadian fighter. Every group has a slightly different storyline but mostly they all break down to, storm this base, rescue this prisoner, or hold this area. Most of the missions in this game are a lot of fun. Even the few tank driving missions aren't that bad because they are over rather quickly. The graphics in the game seem to be a little washed out, but they get the job done. You will enjoy the number of allies and enemies the developer has managed to squeeze onto the screen at one time. You will feel like you are in the middle of a huge battle a lot of the time and practically feel the bullets whizzing by your head. Another asthetic plus is that your squadmates will actually help you in this game by taking out a lot of the enemies for you as you enter an area. This will be very helpful when you don't notice some enemies coming into a new area.
The game is awesome in the area of sound as well. Every gun has a slightly different sound, enemies and allies are constantly talking and things are constantly blowing up or getting shot. If you still have a regular X-Box. It is worth it to hunt down this game and play it.
