I Need Guns, Lots of Guns

User Rating: 8.5 | Call of Duty 3 PS2
The game begins with an introductory of the controls. You cycle through the various Allied armies during the Normandy Breakout campaign. These guys may not be as famous as Big Red One, but again you can never underrate a unit regardless of their designations. Back to the game, you again have a range of weapons at your disposal on both sides either as your standard firearms or pickups along the way. You are an American infantryman Nichols, you are a British SAS Cole, you are a tank driver for the Poles, and each is vital to their unit's survival in the deadliest range of fighting in 1944.

Each battle draws you closer to the inexorable final fight of the game in Chambois. Along the way you will learn not all roads lead to victory, but there are still ways to achieve your objectives. You will have to rely on a combination of the on fly change in tactics no matter how many times you will eventually play through a certain mission. The AI isn't completely iditoic and you must also learn to outthink rather than outfight them.

You will also get to call in air strikes occasionally. More and more its behind just simple brawling, shooting, and heading through hails of ammo fires. This is war at least a pinch of it, and as for the men who really fought through these things. You wonder just how they did it, but then its not something you can explain, you feel it and you do it because its what you must...
