Take a sample of next gen gaming on your PS2. Call Of Duty 3 is definetly the best historic FPS for PS2.
Gameplay
The gameplay in COD3 is excellent. Unlike the fake previous PS2 COD's, where you could get stuck trying to get past another soldier for 10 minutes. Activision have introduced a hot new thing where a german soldier may try to take your weapon, as this happens you will go into a button sequence. To push the Kraut away you must press R1 and L1 rapidly until you push the kraut away from your or his weapon. As the kraut gets pushed away from your weopan you must either press O, X or triangle to finish them off. There is also a new thing where you go through a button sequence to pland a bomb. Plenty of WWII weapons, my favourite the world famous thompson.This game also has "looking down the sight" weapons on all the weps it has. The gameplay is very good for a PS2 game.
Graphics
The best thing about this game! All cutscenes are excellent quality graphics. I believe a kinda low-res version of the XBOX 360 graphics. In gameplay the graphics are above an average FPS for the PS2. Sound

Value
This game is excellent value. There is loads of missions, which go on for a long time, maybe 20-40 minutes per mission.You can control tanks, mortars and more! This game is the best value FPS on the PS2!
What I think about the game?
I think this game deserves a 9.6, for the value, high quality graphics, sound and gameplay. Definetly a must have if you like Historic FPS', this game gives you a taste of Next-gen gaming, just cant wait for more games like this to come out.
