After reading the reviews, watching the movies, and hearing people's rants, I was worried that the game would be below the CoD level. As soon as I started the game, I was surprised at how good the graphics were for a PS2 game. The designers also kept the game very similar to the XBOX360 and PS3 versions. Despite some graphic differences, the campaigns aren't very different. Now the multiplayer, the damage each gun inflicts is a lot more realistic than in Big Red One. It no longer takes 50 M1 Garand shots to take someone down. The vehicles don't add a lot to the gameplay. It seems more useful to stay in one place with the jeeps and just gun people down with the 50. cal. The different classes are set up well, but the unique abilites of each class don't set them apart as well as they could. The campaign is difficult to get used to if you've played a lot of CoD2, but it only takes a little time to figure it out. Overall, it's a much better game than the reviews are saying. Its very addictive and the multiplayer will last me a while. Final Verdict - Buy it!
