Nothing fancy, just a great FPS

When i bought COD III via E-bay, i hadn't noticed that i was buying the French version of the game. Big mistake i thought, but since the games is situated in France it adds a nice touch to the experience (I live in Belgium, we speak french).

COD III starts off in this fantastic battle on a graveyard where bullets and bombs fly around your ears, comrades are being killed around you. This first scene immediately shows what this game is good at, giving you a gaming experience where you feel like you really in the middle of a war. The rest of the game leads you through a whole variety of battlefields (villages, fields, woods, trenches). Some are quite hard, others a run through the park (i played on the hardest level). Sometimes your comrades take the initiative and kill the opponents themselves, sometimes they wait for you to finish them off. COD III doesn't offer a wide variety of weapons or opponents, it's not too hard and maybe a bit too short, but overall it's still one of the best FPS games i've ever played.
