CoD MWR Like it or Not
I see some folks have rated this game a 10 and if I did not live in a world of reality I might also but the real score should be around 8 to 8 1/2. I will try to break this into offline and online game play as that is what interest most of us...
Offline game play missions or campaign (AKA the story line): I do not know what the xbox or ps3 version was but this is centered around terrorist activity throughout the world and is very challenging. The missions are varied and challenging anything from full on shoot and kill to being a gunner on a ch46 to providing air support from a c130. I will admit that I have not completed the offline yet but from what I have done it is fun. Graphics on this game offline are pretty good better then CoD WaW but not as good as The Conduit that being said I prefer this to Tcon for story and game play. Controls for MWR are comparable with WaW with all the same layouts and some configurability ( I am using Charlie same as with WaW). The only real difference i was not happy with was the sniper scoping it will take some getting used to and playing with to get it to your personal comfort level.
Online: This in my opinion is where most hardcore FPS gammer are looking for is pretty good (ok better then good great). The fact that the game has a ton of maps and several types of games to play should keep everyone entertained and online for a long time. The new invite system is great the the addition of a 5th player is nice and the fact that TDM has 2 modes one for individuals and one that will be for friend play (basically if you have party you cannot join the mercenary play) this keeps people from getting ganged up on by clans or groups that play together all the time.
Ok now for some of the cons or perceived cons:
No wii Speak: Ok this honestly is not an issue for me, on the 2 games that I have used it on (Tcon and AC:CF) basically it didn't help and on Tcon it stunk so thats my opinion.
Lag: Yes it is still there and it can get bad but having played most wii FPS game when was it ever not an issue.
Graphics: It's a wii enough said.
Again I actually love this game and would suggest it as a must get for any wii gamer that likes FPS games...
