Breath of Fresh Air
This game is a middle finger towards most WWII shooters, which is ironic in that it's still a "Call of Duty" game.
I'm unlike most players in that I live for the single player campaign of most games and ignore the multiplayer almost entirely. My reason for doing so is because I find game that are made to be 100% multiplayer games--like the Battlefield series--to always have better multiplayer than games that try to be the complete package. That being said, I loved the single player story. While it didn't feel quite realistic, it did make me feel like being in a summer blockbuster/Michael Bay film; lots of explosions and frantically-paced scenes combined with great action. Additionally, I loved the switching between the British SAS and United States Marines settings. It gave two unique views on the same conflict.
