Call of Duty is such a fun game to play. Not only is the multiplayer addictive, but the singleplayer is an amazing 6 hours or so. While the singleplayer is amazing, I think that the multiplayer is the main attraction and most fun of the game. The ranks and the customization of your equipment is quite different from the previous Call of Duty games, but it's a big step in the right direction. The maps, graphics, sound, and just about everything is amazing with this game.
If you're into FPS's, just do yourself a favor and buy this game. There is no way in hell you will be disappointed and have nothing but absolute fun.
