COD has great series... But MW is among the best...
The game is great by just being set in a modern age, that brings a whole new wave of refreshments to games genre.
First, the story... The games story is quite interesting(even though I can't remember it now), but it's interesting and well imagined. You play a double role for the SAS team as "Soap" MacTavish and for the USMC as Sgt. Paul Jackson. As an SAS operative you have some basic training at the facility to determine the difficulty of the game, which I might add is an excellent idea at the beginning, at the end of the training you have an obstacle course which you must pass in the best possible time a player is able to complete.
Graphics in COD has always been perfect, for what I saw, MW is visually astonishing, the lighting, shadows, bullet holes, explosions and weather effects as well, too bad there isn't more destructive enviroment... And not to forget the details of the players themselves, seeing them giving signals through missions, taking grenades, etc... It makes you feel like you're there :P
Sound is just like the previous two things, great, simply great... Ambient sounds, noises, flash bang effects, weapon sounds and so on and so on...
Don't know about the previous COD games but the game play and the physics in MW is looking and feels great... The running, changing weapons, reloading, etc... A.I. in the game is good but I think that maybe could have been better made. The A.I. is actually pretty good none-the-less(enemies shooting from cover, taking cover, throwing grenades, etc.), but it becomes a routine when you see a swarm of enemies that starts rushing at you with AK's blazing at you and you just shoot them down one by one, it's fun though :D
Other great thing is that the game is "real", it won't give you time for you to jump across the deck and there is no last second saves when you are on a timer, such as last minute air strikes or your cavalry barging in and saving your ass... You have take care of yourself... You are Soap MacTavish and this is modern warfare...
I won't go to much into details about this game, cause it's actually necessary for you to see the game rating around GS and other websites to be sure that the games is absolutely "must play" game in the FPS genre and in the COD series.
Only "bad" thing about the game is that its too short, but when you finish it you can play it again :D
There are tons of things I could write down here, but I'ts not necessary, you simply have to play the game to enjoy it and believe the things and the high grades the game has and why it has such great ratings...
