Way better then MW2, but Counter Strike Source is still better, even after all of these years.
The main thing that urks me about this series is how they strive off of their saying of "THE most REALISTIC FPS" and everyone knows that is not true, because Counter Strike Source is still the only realistic FPS to ever come out. It may be real when it comes to the design of the environments and character models, but the actual execution of gameplay isn't.
The Single player is amazing. probably the best since the first Halo. The whole aspect and feel of it was intense and very satisfying after I beat it. everything was good even down to JFK. Felt short, but I would play through it again just to get the trophy for beating it on Veteran settings.
This review is mainly about the whole online setup to gun damage, which to me, is still broken. If I shoot you 5 times in the chest with a M16, there is NO WAY what so ever, that person is still going to run around and just brush it off. There was one point where I actually shot someone in the head, up close while they just stood there, One bullet to the head from any gun in real life means your dead. Don't give me that "Well, I'm wearing a helmet" BS ether. Lets do the math ONE more time
One Bullet + Head = INSTANT DEATH
Not in this game, you need to shoot them in the face atleast twice, and even that don't work, because If I shoot you in the face and you have second chance on, you are still alive. Now....If I shot someone in real life with a AK-47, You will not have the blood, let alone strengtt for a second chance and pull a pistol out and start shooting at people with no problems. I also find it just straight lazy that you can blow limbs off of the AI in single player, but If I shoot someone in the leg in multiplayer, they are still alive and their leg is still there.
Spawning system is still broken and people just Spawn Camp. There was actually one point where as soon as I spawned, I got killed. Not even one second back in the game and I'm already dead as I watch 5 enemy players run past my corpse. while I should have spawn on the other side of the map where my teammates were.
I'm officially done with this game series and Activison in general. With Fallout Vegas and other games just being rushed on their name in general and released to the public with game play issues, I have officially lost faith in console gaming.
