While not exactly innovative, COD's latest outing still has enjoyment to offer you

Last year, Modern Warfare 2 took the gaming world by storm (just as COD 4 did) and gave us all a solid FPS with much fun to be had. But does Black Ops hold up as well as its predecessors? Yes. Does it bring the series, and the entire FPS genre to new heights? No. But that's not to say it's not a thoroughly entertaining game that will bring you hours of enjoyment.

The campaign is by far the best in the series. Going through so many wars so fast, and with so many epic moments, shows that Treyarch knows how to make an exciting single player experience, too bad it ends too quickly.

The multiplayer is still as fun as it ever was. What I always loved about COD's multiplayer was being able to customize your class depending on your combat preference. But now the COD point system makes customization better then ever. No longer do you have to wait to level up to get the equipment and camo you want.

Overall, if you are sick of Call of Duty, this won't bring you back, but if you are a hardcore fan, or you are looking for a decent FPS, Black Ops won't disappoint.
