The next installment of the Activision+Treyarch Game Series COD Black Ops is here and I cannot say that I'm thoroughly impressed with it. The only part I enjoyed about the Game was the setting, I unfortunately cannot say I enjoyed the gameplay, the story, or even the Multiplayer. I had very high hopes for this Game, I was close to Boycotting the Series after the Dissapointment of World at War and Modern Warfare 2, but seeing trailers and gameplay videos I was hyped up to play what could be the best game in the series and was nieve enough to believe the series had been saved. Although that was not to be the case. This game is too close to the previous games in the series, a different setting means nothing if you don't deliver the something newer and better, to me the game seemed rushed to be pushed out into the market.

Some missions in the story felt awkward and pointless, 1 of which where you were required to take off in a Blackbird Jet, and… well that was the mission, then shortly after navigating a team of soldiers less than a mile up the road, and randomly being sent into one of the bodies of the Soldiers to fight, im sorry but what was that about, I saw the blackbird and thought yes this is gonna be awesome, but it was a 1-2 minute take off…

The online despite a different setting was too similar to previous multiplayer installments of the series, and taking away the Spec Ops and replacing it with Nazi Zombies was just a wrong move in my Opinion, what saved Modern Warfare 2 for me was the fact I could work with my Mates to complete Spec Ops missions…

In all It's a game that I feel has not lived up to its hype, and a series that will crash and burn as each installment like this is released, many of you will disagree saying I know nothing, but at the end of the day, it's a game that didn't deliver its full potential. A game that survives off its names heritage, and on that basis I would not recommend it, nor would I say it is deserves GOTY or even any award during this years GOTY Awards. "Play It, Enjoy It or Hate It, But Feel Free to Make up your Own Mind"
