Main selling point is not the campaign but the multiplayer.

As with all call of duty games the main selling point of any in the series is the multiplayer. The campaign is both short and unrewarding in feels some what empty. Though you want closure you don't entirely get it. Though everything does wrap up and the story is driven to be standalone compelling and action packed it just isn't truly black ops. When you hear black ops you expect there to be some low profile stealth missions but every mission will eventually take a turn for the worse and turn into a complete fire fight. The interesting thing is that modern warfare did a better mini black ops campaign then black ops did. That isn't to say black ops isn't existing and a fun game but just doesn't live up to its name. The basic story is that you are a soldier (mason) who was captured and thus you are questioned by the U.S. military about a sequence of numbers and the mystery man known as Makorov which if you played world at war you may remember.

Though the main selling point as I said was the multiplayer. Though you always have to ask yourself do we really need another multiplayer in this case yes we do. The multiplayer is seamless and breaking up will end in your death meaning staying as a team usually is beneficial in order to finish an objective. Though the community can ruin the game a bit. Some people in objective modes just decide to get there kill streaks thus ending in people bringing out gunships to shot you down. Not great fun. An important factor has been added the ability to play on the same screen.
