Not the best game you'll play this year.

Call of duty Black Ops is not the best call of duty game, parts of it are fun but there is alot of things keeping it back. I will start off with the story, the story in black ops see's you playing as alex mason and jason hudson. Mason is kidnapped and is made to give information about the main enemy nikta dragovich and tell them about the numbers that mason see's. The story in black ops is great, it has likable friends and enemies that you can't wait to kill. Sadly the graphics in black ops aren't the best, they aren't as good as the graphics in modern warefare 2 but graphics aren't what make a game great. Now on to the multiplayer. The call of duty series has always been known for its mulltiplayer, but the multiplayer didn't live up to my expectations. The multiplayer has alot of problems including under-powered guns, rc-xd cars, broken spawn system and of course host migration. These are the main problems that hold the multiplayer back, Treyarch have changed the multiplayer quite a bit, they have added in things like cod points which you use to by weapons and attachments for your gun etc., combat training which allows you to see what playing online is like if you are new to the multiplayer and they have added in some new guns. The gun balance in the multiplayer is really bad, most guns are under-powered and a rare amount are balanced well. The mutiplayer in this game has really put me off playing it. and finally zombies. There are 3 maps on zombies so far they are five, kino der toten and dead ops arcade. My personal favourite is kino der toten. The zombie mode allows you to play on your own, split screen, online and split screen online. The zombie mode in blaack ops hasn't really changed from world at war but it is fun killing a few zombies now and then. If you are thinking about getting black ops i would recommend renting it first. The game offers alot in campaign but really let me down in multiplayer.
