Rezurrection brings you 5 great Zombie maps: One new map(Moon)and Four revamped classic ones. Well worth the money!
Nacht Der Untoten:
The place that started it all! Originally you controlled 4 US Marines, but in this version you play as the Original Crew(Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo and Dempsey). Although it is a very small map, it makes up for that by giving it a very creepy and dull feeling and the challenge of not being able to buy Perk-A-Colas*. All the old wall-weapons from WaW return, but the Mystery Box only contains Black Ops weapons in it. Other than that, the upgraded graphics and the Easter Egg song "Undone", everything is left untouched.
Verruckt:
Known for it's creepy mansion setting and it's difficulty, Verruckt returns with some slight tweaks and additions! And yet again, instead of playing as the 4 US Marines, we play as our Original Crew. The Sprinter Zombies don't return, which is a relief for some players. But that doesn't make this map any easier. The true difficulty of this map came from the masses of Zombies cornering you easily and the tight spaces you could get stuck in. The wall-weapons are the same as they were in WaW, and the Box contains the Black Ops weapons. But one gun appears in the Box that is very different from others and is probably the least-common Wonder-weapon. It is the Winter's Howl! Capable of freezing multiple Zombies in a few shots, this gun came straight from "Five" and can be a real life-saver.
Shi No Numa:
The Imperial Army Zombies are back to haunt you forever! You must survive by running through the swamps and into the huts located around the map. Nothing much has been added to this, except from the Black Ops Random Box, the new radio and the better-looking graphics. The Hellhound rounds are great!
Der Riese:
"The Giant" makes it's much-proclaimed appearance in Black Ops. The Undead Nazis from NDU and Verruckt return to their place of creation, with the same task of trying to kill you and your teammates. The Pack-A-Punch machine, the Wuderwaffe-DG2 and the Bowie Knife return, but the major Easter Egg doesn't. WaW wall-weapons, Black Ops Random Box, Original Crew, all there!
Moon:
The All-New Zombie map that, as the title implies, is set on the Moon. Before the Moon, you must survive a place called "No Man's Land", a small area next to Groom Lake(Area 51) that pits you against an endless amount of Zombies and Hellhounds, which get harder every few seconds. No rounds here! You can buy PaP, Juggernog and/or SpeedCola. The 2 Perk-A-Colas switch place each time you teleport back to Area 51. Once the teleporter is open, ALL players must stand on it to teleport to the Moon.
When you teleport, you will see a P.E.S(Pressurized External Suit)in front of you. Get it(It's free BTW)and put the helmet on quickly! If you don't, you WILL be exposed to the no-oxygen on the Moon and will get downed. An Astronaut might spawn, which has a name displayed above it dipicting a name from either someone on the host's friend list or just a random name. If he grabs you, you will lose a random perk and will be a one-hit kill for a few seconds, so try to avoid him at all costs! The Box has 2 new weapons; The QED(Quantum Entanglement Device)and the Wave Gun. The QED is a special grenade that, when thrown will either bless or curse the player. For example, a bless would be like getting a free gun and a curse would be like getting you and/or your teammates downed. The Wave Gun is a gun that has Two modes; The regular Wave Gun and the Zap Gun Dual-Wield, both very powerful! A Hacker makes it's debut in Moon, and it has too many features to feature here! Phasing Zombies are basically the Nova Crawlers from Kino and "Five", but they can teleport short distances very fast. And Mule Kick debuts! It allows you to have THREE guns at once! Pretty cool, eh?
Overall comment: Get it if you love Zombies and are looking for great maps to play hour-on-hour!
*=Not exactly. Mule Kick was added to NDU and every other Zombie map.
