By the numbers shooter

When you first look into buying this game don't go expecting that it retains the same fast-paced formula that has made the original so fresh and great. Also dont go expecting it to have a good online componenet too (which also has made the original so great). If I had to put this game in one word, it would be: lacking. This console version of the popular shooter on the pc just seems to watered down and bare-boned to be a great transition. The gameplay feels too slow paced to be fun especially from playing the original Call of Duty. Enemy A.I. is horrible to say the least. Everything is scripted and barely ever does it act alone or as a group. They just do scrpted events that the game has set up for them. This takes away points from the gameplay since you can never shake the thought that your playing possibly the worst A.I. in history (not including Big Rigs). Well at leat theres one thing this game has going for it, and thats graphics. Not only is there a lot going on screen but everything is fairly detailed and has a realistic look to it. You also have to take in consideration that this game was developed cross-platform all at the same time. The frame rate is always consistant, if a little slow-paced. Add in 480p and you have a good looking game. Wow, I didnt expect this to have bad sound. The team who devolped this game said they used all the sounds from the real guns to be authentic, but to tell you the truth, all of the guns sound pretty similiar except for the sniper rifle. The music seems like they were ejected from the list from a medal of honor game. The voice acting is decent but doesn't make up for the rest of the sound. At the end of the day, Finest Hour doesnt deliver. It has a good presntation but just doesnt have the gameplay to back it up.
